Vivian L. Davis' Obituary
Vivian Davis, 93, of Punta Gorda, Fla., went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, May 28, 2016.
She was born on April 22, 1923, in Sarasota, Fla., to Rev. Enoch and Arizona Daniel.
Vivian was raised back and forth between Fort Myers, Fla., and Punta Gorda. She graduated from Fort Myers High School and lived the rest of her life in Punta Gorda. Later on she married Punta Gorda resident Morris Davis, and together they built D.M. Construction Corporation, which is still in business today. Vivian's two great loves in life were God and her family. She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzels, word searches and going to church. Vivian never missed an episode of WWE on Monday and Thursday evenings. She looked forward every week to going out to eat with her family and friends.
Vivian, beloved mother and Mema, will be greatly missed by her two children, Barbara Jo (Greg) Sullivan, George Davis; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Morris Davis; brother, C.W. Daniel, and sister Lena McDaniel.
