Veronica M. Balsamo's Obituary
Veronica, a resident of Punta Gorda,FL was born March 4, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY to Cono and Maria Cimino. She as a frequent winter guest to this area before settling here over 20 years ago from Ronkonkoma, NY. She had been a seamstress in New York before her retirement in the late 1980s. Veronica was former member of the Elks Lodge in New York and locally. She was a member of the Sons of Italy, the Senior Friends, and N.A.R.F.E. She was also a member of the congretation of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda.
She is survived by her children: Philip Balsamo of Punta Gorda, Judy (John) Pizzolorusso of Ronkonkoma, daughter-in-law Doris Balsamo of Myakka City, FL; and several grandchildren, and great -grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Camillo, and her son, Richard.
