Sylvia Mancini's Obituary
Sylvia Mancini, 93, of Port Charlotte, Fla., peacefully passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 2016.
She was born Feb. 20, 1922, in Torquay, South Deven, England.
Sylvia met and married an American Soldier and sailed to the U.S. with many other British war brides. She and her husband, Romeo Mancini, settled in Staten Island, N.Y. They moved to Port Charlotte in 1982. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.
She is survived by three brothers, Jim (Kathy) Beazley, Leslie (Shirley) Beazley and Thomas(Freda) Beazley,; sister, Betty (Jack) Davies, all of Torquay, England; nieces, Marie (John) Cain and Rita (Frank) Cammarata, both of the United States; many nieces, nephews and cousins in England; many friends in Staten Island, Port Charlotte, and Torquay. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Romeo Mancini; daughter, Pamela LaCursi; parents, Frederick and Violet May (nee Jones) Beazley; brothers, Earnest, Freddie and Sidney Beazley; and sister, Phyllis. She was loved by all.
