Rene Schneider's Obituary
Rene Schneider, 90, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away at home on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017.
He was born in Indonesia and emigrated to the U.S. in 1956. He and his wife Jane of 63 years first lived in Missouri, then moved to Illinois, where he retired in 1994 and moved to Florida.
Rene is survived by two sisters and their children in the Netherlands; a brother-in-law in South Carolina; and a brother-in-law in Illinois; and their children.
He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Port Charlotte, where a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2017, at 10 a.m.
Arrangements are by National Cremation Society and by Royal Palm Memorial Gardens.
