Philomena Lucille Zimmerman's Obituary
Philomena Lucille "Fran" Zimmerman, 91, of Punta Gorda, FL., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014. She was born Sept. 2, 1923 in Vieste, Italy, the daughter of Michale and Maria Turillo. Fran was a retired registered nurse, and had been a resident of Punta Gorda, since 1961. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Fran enjoyed cooking, sewing and making quilts. She loved doing activities with her family, especially having get-togethers with them.
She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her family, including her sons, Alan (Trista) and Michael (Kathy); daughters, Cherylann (Carl) Clark and Teri (Tom) Hughes; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Roy Earl Zimmerman Jr.; and son, Roy Earl Zimmerman III.
