Milton G. Buffington's Obituary
Formerly of Punta Gorda, FL, Milton passed away in Summerville, SC. He had been active in the Punta Gorda area. He was a manager at the U-Save supermarket. He was an auxiliary deputy for the Sheriff's Dept. raising and training their tracing dogs. A highlight for him was being part of the capture of an FBI most wanted fuigitive in 1968. He received a commendation from J. Edgar Hoover. Milton was also a Governor of the Moose Lodge 2121, making many friends through the years. He loved the outof doors, doing brickwork, boating, fishing, and BBQs with his family. Milton was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Beverly.
