Margaret "Dolly" Campisi's Obituary
Margaret "Dolly" Campisi, 98, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Monday, August 13, 2018.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on May 12, 1920, she moved to this area from Long Island with her late husband, Bill, in 1986.
To everyone, she was known as Dolly - a nickname given to her by her father who referred to her in Italian as "Papa's Doll".
She was known to befriend and entertain all who crossed her path with sharp wit and humor. Dolly loved to shop, cook, crochet and to be in the company of friends and family whom will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her sons Ronald (Donna) Campisi and Billy Campisi of Punta Gorda, Fla., grandchildren, Gina Campisi Kletter, Kerri (Anthony) Mazzariello, Christina (Collin) Joiner and Alyssa Campisi; and great grandchildren Matthew, Lauren & Nicole Kletter, Marisa & Anthony Mazzariello, Zachary, Aiden & Joseph Joiner and Alexa Campisi.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
