Leslie E. Correll Sr.'s Obituary
Leslie Correll, Sr. of Punta Gorda, passed away peacefully at home, Wednesday, January 29, 2014. He was born March 19, 1927 in Valparaiso, Ind. to Edward and Vera Correll. Leslie served in the US. Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. He was owner of Les's Radio and TV Service for 21 years. Leslie worked for the Charlotte County, FL. School Board as a school bus driver and Inspector Mechanic of the buses. He enjoyed flying his airplane. Leslie flew Civil Air Patrol Sundown on weekends.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Evelyn; sons, Larry (Alice), Leslie Jr. (Linda) and Jerry (Kim); daugher in law, Brenda; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. Leslie was preceded in death by his son, Terry; two grandsons; two brothers; two sisters; and his parents.
