Leonard C. Mizio's Obituary
Leonard Charles Mizio, age 84, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 at his residence in Punta Gorda.
Born on February 7th, 1937 in Italy to the late John and Marie Mizio, Leonard moved to Punta Gorda from his longtime home in New York where he retired as a New York City Fireman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his beloved wife Anna Marie Mizio, their daughters Nicole M. Belue, and Anna Marie Welland; a brother and several grandchildren.
A Memorial service celebrating Leonard’s life will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, January 15th, 2022 at Roberson Funeral Home located at 215 Mary Street in Punta Gorda. Committal with Military Honors will follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens Cemetery also in Punta Gorda.
