Larry David Correll's Obituary
Larry David Correll, 66, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away Thursday, Sept. 29, 2016, at Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte.
Larry was born June 22, 1950, to Leslie and Evelyn Correll in Linton, Indiana.
Larry attended school in Punta Gorda and married Alice Sutton, his high school sweetheart, in December 1968. God blessed them with two sons, one grandson, two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Larry and Alice opened a roofing company in 1971 and called it Sunrise Roofing, which they owned and operated until his death. Larry was a member of several hunting and fishing clubs and would spend a lot of his free time fishing for bass in lakes around the state or hunting in Georgia. The rest of his time went to his business, caring for his wife Alice, and helping others.
Larry is survived by his wife, Alice S. Correll; brothers, Leslie E. (Linda) Correll Jr., Jerry W. Correll (Kim); sister-in-law, Brenda Correll; grandson, Stephen Correll; granddaughters, Tonya Correll and Jennifer Correll; two great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his two sons, Tommy Correll and Billy Correll; parents, Leslie Correll Sr. and Evelyn Correll; brother, Terry Correll; and nephew, Daniel Correll.
