John R. Sours 85 of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on October 24, 2017.
He was born on June 7, 1932 in Muncie Indiana to William H. Sours and Gladys M. Phillips Sours. John was originally from Muncie, Indiana and moved to Punta Gorda, Florida in 1975
He is survived by his children; Teresa (Wayne ) Hessong, Rebecca (Ray) Porter, Kenny (DeAnna) Sours, John M. Sours, Tara Carter and his brother, Marvin (Joyce) Sours, 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Shirley Sours. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Gladys Sours, his brothers and sisters, Leo, Leon, Wanda, William L., Wayne (Dick), Imogene, Eyster, Bobby, Alvin, William W., Betty Johnson and Lavenia.
