Peter, I found this page because of Hurricane Irma that is threatening Florida right now.
I wondered if you and Jean would be ok. My email is [email protected] if you want to
respond. I am sorry that you have lost Jean. I am now living back in New Jersey in
order to be close to the children. I would love to hear from you.

There are a number of pleasant memories about Jean & Pete from our years at Somerset Hills. A regular presence at church every Sunday and always involved in our various activities. I remember being warmly welcomed into their home on numerous occasions during those years and still count them all, including their sons, as our friends. My heart goes out to the family during this time of saying goodbye. Love to you all.
I knew Jean for more than 60 years. She was my sister in law and dear friend. In all that time there was never a cross word between us. She made my bridesmaid dress when I got married and she never got tired of sewing. She had several hobbies, taking pictures of everyone was one, and growing flowers was another. She didn't mind taking a risk, going up in a very little plane in Alaska to get photographs of an iceberg was one. She loved to cook and our family had many enjoyable dinners at her table. One of her last projects was growing African violets, she couldn't stop and at last count she had 26, so Jean keep up growing flowers.
