James B. Michelson's Obituary
James B. Michelson, 100, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015.
He was born Aug. 22, 1914, in Pittsburgh, Pa.
James moved to this area in 1975 from Pittsburgh. He retired in 1975 as a machinist for the U.S. Postal Service. He served in the Army for three and a half years during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a member of the United States Cival Service Commission and the 632 T.D. Btn. Recon. Company.
James is survived by his wife of 68 years, Hilda; and sister, Marcella Rudick of California.
A private celebration of Mr. Michelson's life will be held at a later date.
