James Howard Humphrey Jr., 96 of Punta Gorda, Fla. passed away Friday April 11, 2014. A longtime resident of Punta Gorda, James was a loving, caring and giving individual who enjoyed boating, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. James is survived by his son, Allen (Christina); daughter, Rebecca (Ron) Pitts; and his grandchildren, David (Teasha) Humphrey and Jessica Stubblefield.
