Jacob Clyde Sell Jr.'s Obituary
Jacob Clyde Sell Jr., age 97, of Port Charlotte, Florida, died December 17, 2017, at Englewood Tidewell Hospice House in Port Charlotte.
He was born August 23, 1920, in Altoona, PA, to Jacob Clyde Sell Sr. and Susie Over Sell. Mr. Sell was a member of Port Charlotte Methodist Church, where he recently served as usher and greeter and he was previously employed at National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD, as a civil engineer, until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Jon A. Sell, James M. Frasher, and his wives from two marriages, Leola Hess Sell and Alice Taylor Sell.
Surviving are four sons, Ronald C. Sell (Cynthia) of Valdosta, GA, David R. Sell of Baltimore, MD, R. Wayne Frasher (Darlene) of Pittsburgh, PA, Thomas K. Frasher of Middleton, MD; two daughters, Barbara G. Sell (Stephen Barker) of Tucson, AZ, Carol F. Salter of Hilton Head, SC; and a special friend and caregiver, Monica Lobban; 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren and many friends and neighbors.
