Geraldine M. Cady's Obituary
Geraldine M. (nee Sanders) Cady, 94, of Great Bend, PA., and formaly of the Punta Gorda, Fla.,/ Port Charlotte, Fla. area, passed away Sunday June 22, 2014 with her family by her side. She was a treasurer for her Seventh-day Adventist Church both in Vestal, N.Y., and Port Charlotte. She loved her Church, and loved serving in Dorcas activities. Geraldine was a seamstress who made many wedding dresses, including four in her own family. She made many clothes as they were growing up. She loved game shows and watching old movies, as well as cooking for her family and friends. Geraldine is survived by her children, Juanita Sanders, Mina Smallacombe, Bill (Jackie) Sanders, Roy (Darleen) Sanders Jr. and Pam (Millard) Hall; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Seymour LeRoy Sanders Sr.; her oldest daughter, Priscilla Parson; sisters, Jessie and Carolyn; and a brother, Franklin.
