George Boehm's Obituary
George Boehm, 81, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017.
George was born in Queens, New York, om March 12, 1936, to William and Caroline Boehm. He served three years in the Navy right after graduating High School. When he came home, he married Carol, nee Hellers. He retired from Exxon after 35 years as a fuel truck driver. After retirement he moved to Florida and helped buildup Riverside Oaks Park and loved it. For 25 years he was a member of the Elks in Punta Gorda. He loved to play golf, and watch football and lacrosse on TV.
He was a warm, funny guy who loved to make people laugh. A wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
George is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carol; brother, William and wife, Barbara; children, Larry and wife, Susan Boehm, Linda and husband, David Ware; grandson, Christopher and wife, Margaret Boehm; great-grandchildren, Angel, C.J. and Caleb Boehm. Many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Arrangements are by National Cremation Society and by Royal Palm Memorial Gardens.
