Elio L. Fernandez's Obituary
Elio Luis Fernandez, 24, of Jamestown, North Carolina, and formerly of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, as a result of a motorcycle accident.
He was born April 7, 1994, in Clearwater, Florida, and raised in Punta Gorda prior to moving to Jamestown. He was an aircraft and powerplant mechanic for HAECO America. He had love for his country, motorcycles, fishing, hunting, guns, the outdoors and life itself. Elio lived life to the fullest, accomplishing all of his dreams and enjoying every moment along the way. He was truly a shining star who brightened the lives of everyone who crossed his path. There will never be anyone like him in this world. May he forever fly high and shine bright. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Elio is survived by his loving family, his parents, Dr. Luis F. Fernandez and Anna M. Lopez-Fernandez of Punta Gorda; and two brothers, Enrique of Utah and Luis C. Fernandez of Daytona Beach, Florida; and his friends who loved him dearly.
Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home and by Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, Punta Gorda, Florida.
