Edwin W. Janz's Obituary
Edwin W. Janz, 95, beloved member of the Punta Gorda, FL community, passed away August 14, 2017. He was born August 10, 1922 in Benton Harbor, MI and came to this area in 1988 from South Bend, IN. He retired in 1987 as a wholesale salesman for the National Mill Supply Company. Mr. Janz served our country proudly during WWII in the US Army and was the recipiant of two bronze stars.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 110 and attended Souls Harbor Church of God.
He is survived by his sons, Dr Timothy (Susan) Janz and Ronald E. Janz, as well as his granddaughter, Whitney Janz, all of Punta Gorda, FL. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anna Janz on April 19, 2009.
The Funeral Service will be at 11:00am, Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Souls Harbor Church of God, 451 Helen Street, Punta Gorda, FL 33950. Burial with military honors to follow at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens.
