Edward F. DeWeaver Jr.'s Obituary
Edward F. "Ed" DeWeaver Jr., 73, of Port Charlotte, Florida, and formerly of Palmyra, New York, passed away, Oct. 28, 2016.
Ed was born Feb. 28, 1943, in Rochester, New York, to Frances and Edward DeWeaver Sr.
Ed graduated from Palmyra-Macedon Central High School in 1961. He served in the United States Army, where he stationed in Korea. Following the service, he became a machinist for Xerox. In 1980, Ed and his family moved to Port Charlotte. He was an avid golfer and loved playing with his dogs and working in his yard.
Ed is survived by his younger brother, Richard (Barbara) DeWeaver; daughters, Stacey (James) Hart and Kris DeWeaver; grandchildren, Nichole (Tito) Feliciano, Shane Dionne and Brook Parasiliti; and great-grandchildren, Caleb, Edwin, Allyanna, Santino, Jace and Paisley. Ed was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Cook; and great-grandson, Wyatt Grimes.
Arrangements are by Kays Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home in Port CHarlotte and by Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda.
