Clifford David Gohdes' Obituary
Clifford D. Gohdes, 66, of 728 Monaco Drive, Punta Gorda, FL, passed away on September 11, 1985.
He was born January 21, 1919, in Davenport, ND, attending Technical School in Durbin, ND.
During World War II he captained a Martin Marauder B26 for the Army Air Force, stationed in Earls Cone airfield in England, flying 79 missions.
After returning from the war he married Grace E. Persons from St. Charles, MN, on August 19, 1944. He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Controller/Supervisor in Fargo, ND, and Minneapolis, MN, until he retired in 1975, and moved to Punta Gorda, FL.
He is survived by his wife, Grace; three sons, Lee of Westminster, CA, Gregory of Rochester, MN and Craig of Lee's Summit, MO; daughter, Cheryl Goggin of Hattiesburg, MS; and seven grandchildren.
