Clara Mae Clarkson's Obituary
Clara Mae Clarkson, 95, of Naples, Florida, formerly of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed Saturday, November 26, 2016.
She was born September 3, 1921 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to John and Mary Hardin.
Clara was a teacher's aide and bus driver for Charlotte Harbor and Fort Ogden School for disabled children with CCPS for 19 years. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and played the organ for 38 years. Clara was known for her love for others through her cooking.
She will be greatly missed by her son, David (Deborah) Clarkson of Naples, Florida; grandsons, David E., Joshua, Zachary and Dustin; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Tiffany, Stephanie, Skylar, Logan, Kyle, Jessica, Krystina and Lily Shanklin; and great-great-grandchildren, Isabella, Izaiah and Ilias Lachman. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde in 1981 and daughters, Joyce Fort and Shirley Clarkson.
Arrangements are by Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services and by Royal Palm Memorial Gardens.
