Chuck was born in Pittsburgh, PA Jan. 24, 1936. He was always involved in Softball for the past 8 years after knee surgery he was unable to play but he ran the Charlotte senior league every Monday and Thursday. He loved the game.
We did a lot of traveling in the last 14 years going to Pittsburgh at least once a year and traveling to many other places. We went to Hawaii twice, San Francisco three times, St George, Utah ( about four times), we saw Branson Mo, Grand Canyon ( north and south rims) Zion National Park, Bryce, Hoover Dam , Lake Powell, Napa Valley,Branson, Mo, Las Vegas, Laughlin, 4 Corner, Monument Valley, Masa Varda, San Juan, St Kit, St Martian, Cozumel, Mexico, two many places to remember them all.
He loved to drive old roads and see where you end up at, really enjoyed driving to the edge and look over steep cliffs. We did a lot of travel in the 14 years we were together and had planned on doing a lot more. The old " Happy Trail to you ". Fit Chuck to a tee.
The man worked like a horse when his back was not hurting him but he sang or hummed most of the time. He was always helping everyone never met a stranger. I could go shopping and he would wait for me on a bench but never alone always talking with someone. He was a friend to everyone. And the love of my life. I will always miss him.
