Barbara Guilliams' Obituary
Barbara Jeanine Miller Guilliams, 79, of Punta Gorda, Florida, went tot "Walk the Streets of Gold" on Wednesday, July 27, 2016.
She worked in her family's business, Little Jim's Well Drilling and was the first registered female well driller in the state of Florida. Barbara worked hard and played hard and loved competition. Taking her hobby, bowling, very seriously, she was honored with numerous awards throughout those many years and in 1993 was inducted into the CCWBA Hall of Fame. Her other interests were watching professional sports, playing cards and bingo and making arts and crafts.
Barbara is survived by daughters, Regina Mestre and Christina Fisher; son, Dwayne Cooley; sisters, Louanne Steinberg and Erika Ehlke; brothers, Donald Miller and Michael Miller; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elise Miller; son, Michael Eugene Hunt and granddaughter, Amber Jeanine Miller.
Barbara, aka "Big Barb," and "Pink Panther," will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
