Arthur Richard Melo's Obituary
Arthur Richard Melo was born May 27, 1924 in Newark, N.J. He moved to Florida in 1988 to retire and spend time with his loving family. His wife of 59 years, Dorothy, passed away just one year ago; their devotion and love for each other was one of a kind, as well as their love for family. Aurthur is survived by three generations of family, sons, Richard (Joanne) A. Melo of Boone, N.C., and Jim (Sandy) Melo of Punta Gorda, FL.; six grandchildren, Richard, Michael, Anna Marie, James, Adam and Jamie; and seven great-grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Kays-Ponger & Uselton Funeral Home and Crematory Services in Port Charlotte Chapel.
