Alma G. Herdez's Obituary
Alma G. Herdez,88, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away, Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.
She was born to Juan and Ignacia Guzman, Sept. 30, 1927, in Gibara, Oriente, Cuba.
Alma came to America in 1948 and became a U.S. citizen in 1956. She was a homemaker and loved life to the fullest. Alma will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Herdez of Port Charlotte; son, Lindsey (Lori) Herdez of Punta Gorda, Fla.; three grandchildren, Jackie, Christy and Amber; five great-grandchildren, Desiree, Mateo, Isabella, Shaunti and Ethan; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Helio Herdez; and loving daughter, Rose Lynn Quinn.
A memorial Service will be held at a later date by the family.
