Mary Allice Willis of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away unexpectedly at Bayfront Health Punta Gorda. She was born in Panama City, FL and moved with her family to this area in 1958. Mary Alice and her husband, W. Richard Willis owned and operated Willis Construcion Co. and Tackle Plus bait and tackle shop, until her husband's death. Thereafter Mary Alice worked part time for many years in the mailroom of the Charlotte Co. Tax Collector's Office, forming many wonderful friendships. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Her love and spirit will be missed by her children Thomas R. Willis and Gail (Terry) Manley of Port Charlotte, FL; grandchildren, Kurt (Carol) Manley of Port Charlotte, FL;, Kristi (Chad) Bryan of Eustis, FL, Jonathan Willis and Jarrett Willis of Ft. Myers, FL; great-grandchildren, Jessica (Richie) Bigi of Ocala, FL, Luke Bryan and Makynna Bryan of Eustis; great-great grandchildren, Angelina Bigi, Gavin Bigi and Connor Bigi of Ocala, FL; sisters, Annie Mae Bethea of Punta Gorda and Carol (Pat) Gooding of Cross City, FL; brother, Herman (Sarah) Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Alice was preceded in death by her husband, W. Richard Willis; parents, Geo9rge and Nellie Clark; brothers, Edward Clark and Lloyd Clark; and sister Inez McKinney.
