Dottie's been gone nearly - what - seventy years? Yet I find her teenage self appearing as I work on cleaning my own car. which is still across the street on Edna Way. Thanks for maintaininf this sit!e I just loved Dottie and I wish she could have lived long enough so s could tell her.
After my brother was killed in a car crash, Dottie and I drove through the San Mateo hills on and on in silence. It was the only thing I could bear and I wish she was still here so I could put my arms around her and thank her for her life. I was just a kid, maybe sixteen. Dottie was a grownup and I wish she was here today so I could put my arms around here amd thank her for being there when there there was no one else who understood.was no one else who understood.
