Ann Elizabeth McCullock, 82, of Port Charlotte, Florida, died Saturday, May 20, 2017. She was born Nov. 26, 1934, in Quincy, Massachusetts, to James Griffin and Mary Madden Griffin. Ann grew up in Stratford, Connecticut, and she came to Port Charlotte in 1972 from Springfield, Massachusetts. Ann was a talented artist and painted beautiful pictures throughout her life. She worked as an X-Ray technician at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, and then at Charlotte Orthopedic Clinic for over 30 years, retiring in 2005. She was an active member of the Fraternal Order of Police Woman's Auxiliary, a member and usher at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, and she volunteered for the For Love of Children Organization. She was very kind, loving and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Kelly (Joseph) Monteleone of Port Charlotte, Patricia (Gary) Pippin of Springfield, Russell (Kim) McCullock of Palm Island, Florida, Joanne (Rich) Isabelle of Monson, Massachusetts; her sister, Kathryn Griffin of Punta Gorda, Florida; six grandchildren, Jake Monteleone, Tracey Coleman, Joel, Daniel, Jonathan Albitz and Seth McCullock; also survived by many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, James Griffin and Mary Madden Griffin; her sister, Marjorie Miller; her brother, Larry Griffin; and her husband, Willard "Bill" McCullock. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens.
